Researchers from the University of California, San Francisco are calling it a digital version of the ongoing Framingham Heart Study which has been going strong for 65 years. The lead researchers believe their eHeart Study can fill in some of the gaps left by the Framingham Study which collects data only once every two years – think of all the possible data points they can get using various apps on smart phone technology.
